The Wells WVU-48 is a high-performance ventless exhaust system designed for commercial kitchens. Featuring a 48" cooking zone, it utilizes horizontal air discharge for efficient ventilation. The system incorporates a comprehensive 4-stage filtration process, including a grease filter, pre-filter, HEPA filter, and charcoal filter, ensuring optimal air quality and safety.
Equipped with a self-contained fire protection system and air flow sensors, the WVU-48 enhances kitchen safety while maintaining compliance with Certified Type-1 standards. The unit includes three LED lights for improved visibility during cooking and an interlock system for added operational safety.
Constructed from durable stainless steel, the WVU-48 is built to withstand the rigors of a busy kitchen environment. It features adjustable legs for easy installation and leveling. The self-contained ANSULĀ® R-102 system provides an additional layer of fire protection. This model is UL Classified and cULus Classified, ensuring it meets rigorous safety standards.
For maintenance, the WVU-48 requires two pre-filters (model 22618) and one HEPA charcoal filter pack (model 23312). Additionally, it can be field converted to vertical air discharge, offering flexibility in installation options.
